Photo Expedition France - Exploring the Beauty of Provence
Join me on a journey to one of the most picturesque corners of France. Provence is not just about lavender fields, but also about charming towns and villages, beautiful nature, monumental buildings, as well as good food and a relaxed atmosphere. On our photo expedition, both classic landscape photographers and city/street photographers will find their cup of tea, but we will not forget those who enjoy capturing flora and fauna.
ITINERARY
Day 1:
We will
spend the first day on the road and stop in Germany or even in France in one of
the picturesque towns in the evening. Here we will spend the first night and
possibly go out for some photography.
Day 2 - 7:
In the
morning, we will head to Provence.
So, what do
we plan to photograph depending on the weather and the state of the lavender
blooms:
Bird
reserve Pont de Gau.
Sénanque
Abbey surrounded by lavender.
Pont du
Gard, a 49-meter high and up to 275 meters long aqueduct, which is on the
UNESCO list.
Regional
Natural Park of Camargue.
Pont
d'Avignon - a bridge famous not only from songs.
Plus many
other smaller and larger towns and villages.
Les
Baux-de-Provence - an ancient village with castle ruins, located on a rocky
plateau in the south of France in the Bouches-du-Rhône department.
The
"cave" Carrières de Lumières, where interesting stories and images
are projected onto the walls in the rocks.
As high
temperatures can be expected in the afternoon, we will also engage in
activities such as swimming in the sea, visiting cafes, pastry shops, and other
beautiful activities.
We will
leave Provence on the penultimate evening and make another photographic stop on
the way back.
The program
and itinerary may be subject to change due to weather or organizational
conditions
